How to open Microsoft Teams

In this article we will explain how to open Microsoft teams from:
- Your local computer
- From the web
Prerequisites
- Microsoft Teams Account - This will be your CPS email address and password
- Microsoft Teams installed on your computer
Instructions
Open Microsoft Teams from your Computer
Step 1: Click on the “Microsoft Teams” icon on your desktop (or)
Step 2: Click in the search bar in the lower left corner and type “Teams”
Open Microsoft Teams from the web
If you do not have Microsoft Teams installed on your computer, you can also open it from the web
Step 1: Open an internet browser (ie Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge/Microsoft Explorer ) and enter the url: https://office.microsoft.com
Step 2: Click on the sign in icon in the top right corner
Step 3: Enter your corporate email address and select “Next”
Step 4: Enter your password and select “Sign in”
Step 5: Select the “Teams” icon
Step 6: If presented with this screen select “Use the web app instead”
Step 7: You are now in the “Teams” web app
